Bio

Cheri Bauder received an A.G.S. degree from IU in 1993, with a minor in Sociology and concentrations in Geology & Business. Cheri also completed a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from the IU Center on Philanthropy's Fund Raising School in 1995.

Cheri began her career at the Law School as a Faculty Assistant (1987) and the China Summer Program Coordinator (1988). In 1989, she was promoted to the position of Senior Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Dean for Development and the Assistant Dean for External Affairs and Media Relations. In the early 1990’s, her position evolved into the Annual Fund Coordinator in the Office of Development until 1997.

She also worked in the Bowen Research Center, Indiana University School of Medicine, as an Assistant for Grants and Research (1997-1998), and as Senior Administrative Assistant to five faculty members and the Third-Year Clerkship program at the Indiana University School of Medicine - Department of Family Medicine (1998-2000). Cheri served as Finance & Buildings/Grounds Secretary to the Vice Principal at Broad Ripple High School (2004-2008).

In 2008, Cheri returned to the Law School as Senior Administrative Assistant in the Business Office and the Office of Institutional Advancement. Cheri is currently responsible for Payroll, Travel and Purchasing for the school. She also provides administrative support and coordination of the activities for the school’s Board of Visitors.
