Steven Zats, the dastardly lawyer in the newspaper story on pp. 40-41, was back in the pages of the Philadelphia Inquirer on Oct. 10, 1998: "He tricked people to collect money from them. He cheated clients by withholding money due them. And he bilked the government by evading federal income taxes." The paper reported that Mr. Zats had entered a guilty plea in federal court for fraud and tax evasion.
