You’re invited to attend the Norman Amaker Public Interest Law and Social Justice Retreat on Friday, February 22nd through Sunday, February 24th. The Retreat is sponsored by the Society of American Law Teachers and the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis. The Retreat brings public interest law students, faculty, and practicing lawyers together for a weekend dedicated to discussion and exploration of social justice issues.

Join law students from throughout the country and take a few days away from the frantic pace and high pressure of law school for a retreat. In addition to relaxing, hiking, and generally enjoying the great outdoors, we will forge a coalition of students, professors, and practitioners to support social justice-orientated law students pursuing careers in the public interest.

The Amaker Retreat will take place at the Bradford Woods Retreat Center (Indiana University's Retreat and Conference Center) located just 45 minutes from downtown Indianapolis. The Retreat is open to anyone with a passion for public interest law and social justice issues. http://www.indiana.edu/~bradwood/

The weekend is filled with speakers from around the country who have dedicated their lives to serving others. These speakers will share their experiences on a variety of public interest topics.
