The Indiana Council on Legal Education Opportunity (ICLEO) provides minority, low-income and educationally disadvantaged college graduates with assistance in pursuing law degrees and careers in the Indiana legal community.

Sponsored by the Indiana Supreme Court, the ICLEO Summer Institute provides students with intensive preparation for legal studies, tips for success in law school, a close network of friends, and the mentorship of professors.

Students who successfully complete the Summer Institute may be eligible for an annual living stipend of $5,000, which may be awarded for up to three successive academic years. ICLEO also helps students locate law-related summer employment after the first year of law school.
